Introduction of the strength and application of lime-sand bricks for steam lime-sand brick equipment:
The strength of steam lime sand brick equipment is affected by many factors, not only related to lime, but also related to the particle size distribution of aggregates, the degree of mixing uniformity during stirring, the content of active SiO2, and the size of pressing pressure and autoclaved pressure. Factors such as pressure (ie temperature) during maintenance have a considerable relationship. As far as lime is concerned, the same content of lime is not only related to the amount of lime used, but also has a lot to do with the fineness of lime grinding.
From the perspective of mechanical properties, GB11945-1999 stipulates that lime-sand bricks for steam lime-sand brick equipment are divided into four strength levels: MU10, MU15, MU20, and MU25, and the strength level of superior products must not be less than MU15. There is also a strength level MU7.5, which is only suitable for steam lime-sand hollow bricks. The strength level of superior products is not less than MU15, and the strength level of first-class products is not less than MU10.
Compared with other wall materials, lime-sand bricks for steam lime-sand brick equipment have significant heat storage capacity; due to the large capacity of lime-sand bricks for steam lime-sand brick equipment, the sound insulation performance is very superior; in addition, lime-sand bricks are non-combustible building materials. It shall not be used in building parts subject to long-term heating above 200°C, rapid cooling and rapid heating, and acidic medium corrosion. Therefore, the three grades of steam bricks MU25, MU20, and MU15 are suitable for foundations and other building parts, while MU10 is mainly used for building parts above the moisture-proof layer. At the same time, lime-sand bricks are not suitable for high-rise buildings. Due to their high density and heavy weight, lime-sand bricks will increase the load on the wall and shorten the life of the wall.
